There are several bands called Visiteur #1 Visiteur is a pop duo from Stockholm Sweden, playing uptempo synth-driven pop with strong beats and big hooks. #2 Visiteur is an indie rock band formed in late 2009 in Helsinki, Finland. The band have toured the local club circuit frequently. Visiteur released the single Päässä valovuosien on January 11th 2012 and the EP Kävelin Kotiin on July the 27th 2013. The line-up consists of Mikko Kupari (lead vocals, guitar), Joonas Hillebrandt (lead guitar, vocals), Jonttu Leskinen (bass) and Laura Mitten (synthesizer). Kupari & Hillebrandt are the main songwriters. Visiteur have said to be heavily influenced by brit pop and british rock - Suede and Manic Street Preachers among other artists - even though Visiteur sing in their native Finnish language. Other influences include the harmony sensibilities of Egotrippi and the harder rocking The Smashing Pumpkins. Visiteur's first drummer Jere Lähdesalo left the band in late 2010 and second drummer Samuli Reinikainen left In the fall of 2013.
